How God is romancing me…

I walked through a department store this week. The store usually plays piano music, it's sort of their signature. But when I was there, just at the moment I walked in, they played the recording of Tony Bennett singing "The Best is Yet to Come". I looked up at the ceiling, smiled and said to God, "You are such a show off! :) Ok Jesus you've got good stuff for me in my future".

So happy to see this post from you! Have you seen the movie THE LAST HOLIDAY (with Queen Latifah)? If not, rent it.

Toitally agree with Annalea's recommendation. Fabulous movie. There are so many great, inspirational movies of late.

Seems there are quite a few of us grinding really hard to improve ourselves and our lives. Movies addressing personal growth are attractive to me, at this time in my life. Why stay in the balance?....some great advice I got recently, when doing a spin cycling class, was to GET OUT OF BALANCE...GO FOR THE NEXT STAGE OF PUSHING YOURSELF.

Somehow, those words stuck in my head. Once I decided to indeed 'go for it', omg! Now I know what all those work out freaks love doing this stuff for. The high was so cool. Of course, I made other gym goers laugh because I began to giggle. Not too often one sees/hears giggling at a gym! My family would say typical of HWC but then again, letting myself push into the next level of fitness spoke volumes to my spirit, of how much I can do and how stiffled my self control on my 'self-pusher' truly is.

Hey Shula, GET OUT OF BALANCE AND GO FOR IT ;-)

I love that movie! My favorite scene is the one where she's snowboarding. What a carpe diem movie. I will watch it again!

(smile) you are so right on target. I am going to the next stage of pushing myself. I'm really going for getting in shape. Walking on average 2-3 miles a day and eating healthy. My clothes are loose and I rewarded myself with a new teeny blue thong. :)
